About the escape room
The building in Kibbutz Afikim carries a story shrouded in fog.
Late 1960s. An independent, dubious children’s home run by Mrs. Alisa Steigen, a new immigrant using a false identity, is established in the building.
The place’s history is far from flattering, and the kibbutz refused to thoroughly investigate the strange "lighting problem," just as it failed back then to properly examine whom it admitted and crowned as the leader of an allegedly innovative educational experiment that turned out to be scandalous and even dangerous.
But as you well know, the story of the "Other" children's home is not over yet.
Today, sixty years after it was abruptly closed, a dim light can be seen through the window for one hour each night.
And a figure who witnessed her life’s work there still wanders between the children’s beds and the kitchen...
